Watched curse of the golden flower with dear. I think it's not very nice though the acting of Gong Li and Chow Yun Fatt was quite good. Jay Chou? Let's must say he managed to get us all laughing when he supposed to act emotional. But Dear likes Jay, so I shall not dwell on how terrible he is, haha.
I think all the guys will sure have an eye feast when watching the show. There are ample female assets overflowing and being displayed everywhere, every minute of the show. Act I'm a bit disgusted. Why do we have to use sexuality to sell Asian films? Zhang Yimou explicitly asked the clothing designers to 'spice' up the costumes. And the palace didn't even look like a real palace. If u ask me, I think it looks more like a Tang dynasty brothel instead. Well, all I can say is at least the film sold well in Asia- they achieved the aims of profit making.
Finally ate Ajisan Ramen, had been wanting to try. And like wat ppl told me, the food is only ok leh. Tried the volcano ramen and wow, my lips really burned, haha. Dear's crayfish ramen was nicer, should have tried that, bleah.
Tml we are watching Confession of Pain. I wan to watch Takeshi Kanshiro and Leung Chao Wei. Shuai!!!!!
