The weekend

The weekend has passed again. It's back to work again tml.

Went over to Dear's house. Watched soccer with him at night though Dear's team lost 2-0 in the end. Went church and then shopping a little today. Very 'quiet' activities as we are both tired from work. So really felt like just slacking around, which may be a little bad if it keeps up. Cos it means that we would have evolved into lifeless working adults and become boring ppl, haha. But a happy thing is that I read the papers today and saw an interesting nature place that we can go explore. It is a natural park with huts and you can fish, prawn or catch long kang fish there. Sounds quite fun. I showed Dear the article, perhaps we'll go there soon, hee.

Saw my fren's article in the papers today. So envious that she has her byline already and has a full page to herself. While me, I'm still struggling and waiting here. Though I know I didn't want to intern in the newspapers so that I can try working in a magazine but I can't help feel that maybe it would have been better. I'm too hungry for recognition, haha. But hey, the plus point abt my mag internship is that I get to eat a lot of good food and get to hone my feature writing skills which the sch doesn't really help with. So, I must be positive!
