Have you ever eaten pasta in the cinema before? Does the idea of eating warm filling comfort food while watching a good movie in the cinema sounds nice to you?
I just came back from watching Shrek 3 with Dear. He finished work early to collect some lucky draw thingy that he won and we watched the movie too. I love the cat and the gingerbread man! The big eyes of the cat and the exaggerated erratic behaviour of the gingerbread man is so cute! In fact, i was walking past MacDonald's yest and they were selling the toy of the gingerbread man with every Happy Meal. I bought a meal and the cute toy but ended up a little sick after eating the heaty fries.
Anyway, we were rushing to watch the show and so I bought pasta from Pasta Mania to eat in the cinema. Dear bought MacDonald's. Walking into the cinema, I saw that the front rows were unoccupied so I suggested to Dear to sit there since the screen was still in good view even at the front. Then I can eat my pasta without guilt and happily too- I just feel a bit weird bringing this kind of food into a cinema, was afraid other ppl might mind it, esp if there's a smell. Sometimes, I even get irritated at the smell of hotdogs in cinema; the mustard and chili sauce always smell so weird in a small enclosed air-con room.
The movie was a little short and fell a little short of my expectations. Think the previous two installments were nicer. I bought Shrek ears from MacDonald's for Dear and he looked so cute wearing it. Though later he made me wear it too during the movie. He had actually bought one pair for me too and had insisted that I wear it during the movie, but well, he didn't bring the ears in the end.
Now back to Dear's lucky draw thingy, shall not talk abt the long story behind it. Dear got a spa voucher, makeover voucher and hotel stay voucher IN CHINA! Whoever wants to go there?! I'm real happy with the spa and makeover voucher and am thinking of how to utilise it soon. Esp since the makeover voucher expires on 17 June, which is next week! As for the hotel voucher, Dear suggests we go to China on a budget airline and take a holiday. Bleah. Maybe we can hopefully sell it and get some cash, haha.
I'm not going to see Dear on Sat, hai, so irritating. It's the only day that we can really spend a lot of time together. Have to look forward to Sun then. And counting down to the end of my internship next Sat!
