Just some random thoughts...lately I've been obssesed with Anthony Bourdain. Been watching his shows since it reruns a lot on cable tv and I've even borrowed his books from the lib. I mean , hey since when can chefs write and have an intelligent thought process outside of food? I'm quite intrigued by his candidness and how he observes everything (giving his comments in a flowery bad language at times) and the oxymoron that he has a big heart underneath all those toughness. If I can get to NY one day, I'll definitely wan to try his restaurant though most probably he might be flying elsewhere for yet another trip, haha. Yup, so I start my day with Bourdain (cos i watch tv the first thing I wake up and he's the first thing on tv in the morning) and I end my day with Bourdain, curling up in bed with his book, being tortured by his colourful language and unique thoughts. Guess it's an irony that I only started reading and becoming interested in chefs after my stint in that food mag.
And oh, a few days after I got my hair highlighted, I bought a brown dye for Dear cos he said he also wan to colour his hair. Hee! So dun say I always bully him- I do treat him well ok : )
Sch is starting next mon. End of the carefree princessy life. I already have an over-enthu prof emailing us about the work of the course. Sucks.
