Food galore

Have been wanting to blog but have been busy : )

Dear and I went to try out a new place the other day, at my suggestion. We went to the Crab Shack and I've read good reviews about it. But the evening was really an eye opener with the both the food and unique service.

It's quite a casual place and not fault for it, since it helps to keep the prices down. When we reached there at 6pm, the chef was not even there and the waiter had quite a lousy attitude although sometimes he does smile at you when serving the food. He volunteered to call the chef but never told me any updates and never offer any drinks menu. In the end, I told Dear to hack it and get a drink from the canteen nearby. Nobody complaint that we bought drinks from outside. That's how casual they are.

I wanted to try the flower crabs but it was not available and that got me a little upset cos I came specially for it and it's supposed to be one of their speciality. The food was not bad though although there was an average waiting time of 30mins each for our appetiser, main course and dessert. Only one chef is in the kitchen, cookign and preparing everything all by himself. Dear and I both joked that it was one of our longest dinner ever for such a simple meal- we took 2 hrs!

The unique thing is that the place have a white wall that screens concerts and soccer matches. Besides us and a table of regular customers, no other customers were around. Weird place.

And one day, Dear was having a craving for Swedish meatballs so we went to Ikea. And the hungry pig ordered lots of food!

I can't believe it, we manage to stomach so much food. And Dear likes to say that he don't want to eat so much because he is scared of being fat. *roll eyeball* Haha

We went shopping the other day at IMM becos Dear wanted to buy new clothes. Being the smart shopper that I am, we managed to find great buys at the Espirit outlet shop. Dear bought a nice pink t-shirt (I was quite surprised he is not turned off at pink) and a nice military shirt that just have me swooning over him.

I so happen to adore this kind of design and here is one shirt that looks so nice on Dear. I took this photo in the dressing room, hee. Just looking at this photo has me feeling hot again.

My Dear is so shuai! ^ ^
