Shoes and food!

I've been a little too lazy to blog, hee. Dear has been busy, so there's really nothing much that we've been doing. But I've just put up some pictures of fun outings. I went out with Dear on our 23rd month anniversary to Central and we decided to eat at Waraku Japanese Restaurant.

Dear's order of udon and sushi. The sushi was not too bad but I think Dear thot that the udon was too plain and normal.

My order of beef sukiyaki, though it came a lot of other side dishes like salmon sashimi and tempura, I thot that the tastes were pretty normal too. One funny thing was that Dear thot the white radish that came along with the tempura was wax for my mini pot fire. He was so scared that I almost ate it and took the smal dish away from me. Later he asked the waitress what is it and she said 'it's for the sauce'. Hahaha. So funny. But the white round cakey paste did look like wax! At least it's good that Dear care enough for me not to be poisoned. Better to be safe than sorry! Haha

And we went to Waraku Express or something, just to eat the dessert that Dear has been thinking of since he saw the models on display at the shop. Such a tall big cup! We ate til we were really full. I swirled the background cos it can show Dear's face. I thot the dessert was quite normal- vanilla ice cream topped with tiramisu and with banana and strawberries. The surprise was that when you work your way down to the cup, there were cornflakes bathe with chocolate sauce!

I think I can replicate the dessert at home too. Imagine next time if Dear brings his frens home and they wan to eat ice cream and I churn out this instead. How impressed everyone would be with me and Dear would be so happy with me!

Now that it's the exams period and Dear is a little less busy, I went over to his house to accompany him. I read from the newspapers about this yong tau foo stall at the market below Dear's block and drag him to try it. The first time I went, the stall was not open. Lucky on my second trip (all the way from Jurong to Tampines), it was opened for business. Some of the ingredients were quite unique but does not warrant me going all the way just to eat it.

I accompanied Dear to run some errands and we went to Centuary Square twice within 3 days. There was this shoe shop that was having a sale and I still could not resist taking a look even though I've visited it only 2 days ago. And look what I've found! The shoes that I was just showing Dear that I like a few days ago is now on sale on the rack for 2 for $15! What a buy!

I snap up the shoes (lucky they still have my size) and I was thinking what to get for the second pair, nothing else seems to be nice. Dear suggested I buy the other colours since I like both colours and I can share with my mother ( to lessen my sin since I'm banned from buying shoes). So I took up Dear's brilliant suggestion! I took so long to choose, Dear got a little impatient, haha.

I like the floral designs! And yellow is such a fresh colour!

White is nice too! Elegant and dainty!

Shoes sitting prettily in a shoe box!

Moral of the story: You never know how fast things change. Never be shy to check and see! Haha. Nothing makes a happier day then a good buy, haha.

I've made space in my shoe cupboard for the new shoes but I think there won't be any space left anymore. So the mission to get a new shoe cupboard is still on!

Dear and I are busy studying for exams now and Dear has a last project to complete. He says maybe he'll be busy again. Bummer to a happy day.
