Anniversary part 2

I've been helping Dear with his filming by helping to act. And although it was quite fun, it was tough and stressful. I've no experience and I was so afraid that I would slow the whole team down. But it was also the only way that I could get to see him, not that he really talked to me much the whole day. But at least I got a bit more into his world of filming.

I brought back some roses from the shoot. My reward of the day, haha. So ya, I have roses again in my house. I'm never a flower person but I feel that it looks so nice to have some flowers in the house. The life of the fresh flowers just seem to make the house seem more vibrant and full of life.

I can never understand why girls love to recieve flowers especially since they are so impractical- expensive and useless after a few days. But now I have my own theory. I think it's not only about how pretty or romantic the flowers are, it's also a gesture of love. Isn't it touching to have someone spending money to give you something even though he knows will die after after a few days, that the person is willing to 'spend' this kind of money on you? The person must really love you enough to be willing to 'waste' this money.

That said, I'll still prefer real items that will last, haha, even though it's nice to have flowers once in a while. Just once in a while. I don't want to waste Dear's money.

And by the way, the pink roses Dear bought me lasted for 8 whooping days! : )

And to continue with photos from our anniversay. We went for dinner after I recieved the flowers and of cos, after some playing in the room with the toys, haha. We ate at a Thai restaurant, can't rem the name but it was not bad.

Dear almost finished the whole basket of prawn crackers while waiting for the food. Pig!
Even the dip for the crackers was not spared. Empty!

1st dish: Duck red curry. Not bad but the duck meat was a little tough at times.

2nd dish: Assorted stir fried mushroom. The mushrooms were very soft and nice to bite into. I like the 'chop sui' suace of the mushrooms. I cleaned off the whole plate for Dear.
3rd dish: Chicken minced meat wrapped in omelette. I was looking forward to this dish but lo and behold, the minced meat was fried with tomato sauce. Eww..tastes like children food.
The waitress serving Dear's order of pineapple rice. The restaurant was quite sneaky. The waitress asked if we want white rice or pineapple rice. I chose the white rice but Dear had to choose the pineappple rice. So the pineapple rice came in a pineapple husk and we later found out that we were charged an extra $7 for it. When Dear chose the pineapple rice, the waitress did not explain that there was an extra charge, and come on, the way she asked, is so misleading lor. So we 'wasted' the money lor.

The silly pineapple rice
We bought this chocolate fudge back to the room to eat but in the end we forgot about it until I woke up at midnight. I was awakened bu loud shouts from a grp of rowdy teenagers and woke Dear up too. So I suggested we have a midnight supper. Haha, we ate chocolate fudge at 2am in the morning and dropped back to sleep again. I was seriously wondering if we'll have tooth decays.

The matching couple t-shirts that I bought for Dear!
Dear got me 3 presents- a pair of earrings, expensive potato chips that I didn't bear to buy and the snoopy t-shirt! Heee, it was fun to have 3 wrapped presents in front of me and slowly unpacking them.
Blur me forgot to bring my contact lens case and Dear had to went to Cheers after his bath to help me buy. But they didn't and he bought for me a small tupperware to put my contact lens instead. I'm a sotong, I always forget either my toothbrush, lens case or my spectacle case.
But the best thing was I was so happy with my earrings that I wore them out with my friends and when I was bathing, accidentally dropped one of them into the sink. Dear had to buy me a new pair...ooops.........heeeeee
