Anniversary Part 1

Here's part 1 of our little anniversary! I met up with Dear at Downtown East because it was raining in the east!

On the way, I saw a pasar malam and being the nice person that I'm, bought Remy Burger and Taiwan sausage for Dear.

Look at our room!

The TV is over there!

And the fridge and cupboard is over there!
Want to see more? Click the remote for more! Haha
What got me intrigued about this silly tv remote control was that it was nailed to the wall above the bed. So everytime you need to use it, you have to sit on the bed and raise your hand at an awakward position while looking at the tv to channel surf. How 'remote' is this kind of remote control? Geez, are they so scared someone will steal the remote?
After unpacking our stuff, it was time to head off to the themepark! It's my first time there, and although the theme park looked really small, it was still an eye opener for me, haha.
Theme park!
We took the Pirate Boat because I used to complaint that I have never taken a ride on it before. So Dear brought me to the big monstrous swinging boat. As we were queueing for our turn to get onto the boat, I was watching boat swing in front of me and got cold feet. When it was our turn, we sat inteh middle because Dear said that it was the least scary position in the boat.

But when the boat started to swing upwards and then fall downwards, I still screamed and never stopped throughout the ride. A bit silly yes but I really trembled whenever the boat fall downwards. Not really out of fear, I knew I was safe but still, there's still heart- stopping feeling in me and it didn't help that the cold winds from the rainy weather made me trembled more. Even in the midst of my fear and screaming, I could sense that I was the only one screaming so loud. Even Dear laughed at me for being so lousy, haha
I'm not the only one that's lousy. Dear was laughing non-stop throughout the ride. According to Dear, it's his way of relieving his fear besides the traditional way of screaming. Imagine screaming and hearing someone laugh beside you, what a weird feeling right. So we concluded we are too faint hearted for such rides and we have matured past these amatuer games(haha) and we went to play the game stalls. Anyway it was starting to rain by then too, the bad weather gave us a good reason to move to the game stalls, lol.
Of all the game stalls, we liked this horse racing stall that you have to roll balls to determine how far your horse moves. The first horse to reach the finishing point wins. Simple but great fun. And I'm proud to say that I won a little pony soft toy by winning my first try! Wahaha.
Dear was addicted to the game and insisted we tried several more times cos he wanted to win. And he did! Won a doggie soft toy! First time Dear won something for me!
We had previously went to the catching machines in Downtown East and tried to catch some soft toys. But hai, we failed and wasted money there. Dear kept on wanting to try, I know that silly guy just want to catch something for me cos I said he never did it before. And of course, with some male ego involved too, haha. Luckily he won the dog. : )
But at arcade, we played enough to win us a little ruler. A small little win!
Sneaky Dear arranged for flowers to be sent to the room and even hid in the toilet to make sure that I was the one who opened the door to receive the flowers. When I opened the door, it was really like TV drama, a cute little girl was standing at the door with a bouquet of pink roses for me! Dear said that she is the florist's daughter. But anyway, it's the first time that Dear gave me a bouquet of flowers and although I was a little surprised that the roses were not red, I liked the flowers all the same. The bouquet was really pretty!
And it came with 2 hidden little furry friends: piglet and tigger! So cute. We named them Pinky and Orangey respectively, heeheehee
Loosely termed as the Fantastic 4 by Dear, these 4 soft toys really occupy space man. They were the 'rewards' of my day. I told Dear no more soft toys for me le, cos I'm running out of accomodation for all my soft toys. Even though i love them all. We named the pony, er, Pony and the doggie, Ostrich. Ya, it's a weird name to call a dog, but who cares? : )
------------------------------
Dear has started his FYP and I guess I've somehow get used to him not being around. Dun noe if that's good or bad. It's always harder to sleep at night without Dear tucking me into bed and sometimes I dislike myself for that.
