My 23rd Birthday

Dear brought me up the Singapore Flyer as my birthday surprise. I met him in the afternoon to see a fren's photo exhibition and a guilty KFC lunch.

On the way walking in to the Singapore Flyer, lot's of trees and greenary line the pavement. But, I spotted a green rag among the green leaves. Eww!

The majestic flyer!

Took this photo in the building. The docking bay of the Flyer.

There were a few shops in the building for ppl to shop but quite limited. We finished walking around with half an hour. Look! A bear that shares the same birthday as me!
We were too early for our ride and spent some time taking photos in the little garden on the ground floor. Sat in Popeye and rot till boarding time, haha.

Some of the scenary that we saw from the Flyer. Though the ride was very smooth with no jerky movements, I was still a little nervous when I looked down. Everybody in the cabin started taking photos when the ride started.

The highest peak of the Flyer.

The night scenary of the Flyer after we finished our ride. Dear was quite upset that we didn't get to see the night lights as we were forced to board at 630pm when our ride was for 7pm. Have already helped him complain! I didn't mind not see the night lights although it would have been much more beautiful but I was also quite upset at their silly high-handed policy.

After the ride, we went to Marina Square for dinner. Everywhere was swarmed with hungry ppl queueing at restaurants. In the end we settled for Hotpot Culture to eat...hotpot...haha. The food was rather ok although it was a little ex. One good thing is that they have ala carte cooked food that we can order, including chocolate fondue. So, ya not too bad, haha.

The table beside us dropped an egg on the floor beneath their table. I only noticed it after they've left. Poor egg.

Dear made a video for my birthday present, not too bad. Haha.

FYP mates also bought me a cake and went for a nice driving/eating trip with my frens. My birthday is getting more and more low0key as I grow older and less frens celebrate it for me. That's part of growing up I think. But it's ok as long as my close frens still love me, haha.

---------------------------

We have finally booked our HK trip! Going to stay in Disneyland's hotel for 1 night! Best of all, we are going to stay in Prudential Hotel, a 4 star hotel at only S$125 per night. Good room at cheap price, happy!

We've got to start packing our bags soon! Haha. Meanwhile, I'll start finalising the small details of our interniary like the address and how to get there. And where to eat at which place! I dun wan to get lost or miss out on anything.

And now, I've to start finding a job already. FYP is over and I'm really officially slacking now. Good that Dear has some gleam of hope of a job.

I've lots of photos to post and blog abt but no time! Shall post them up soon I guess, since I'm so free now!
