This is what Dear lugged home:
And this is the loot combined with my stuff:
Dear's loot:
Lost figurines $6 each
Pirates of the carribean lego set $30
Simpson toys $5
Smelly Socks $12.90
Darling's loot:
Guess bag $89.90
Antonio shoes $19.90
ZA foundation refill $12.30
ZA lipstick $11.10
Olay night cream $18
We spend a total of $208.53 at the sale! When we walked out carrying three big plastic bags, we can only look at each other and say 'Oops, we did it again'.
Technically, for so much stuff, $208 is cheap but it's still a sum of money considering we are still poor students and having just come back from a hol.
But it really was a very good sale. They had nice G2000 jackets going for only $39! I would have bought if I knew whether my future job needed a power suit.
I told Dear if we had sales like this often, nobody would need to travel overseas for the purpose of a shopping trip.
It was deja vu all over again from the taka toy sale. When Dear went to the toys section and saw the Lost figurines, his immediate reaction was 'We need a trolley' even when he was already carrying a shopping basket in his hands. *slaps forehead*
So gone were we in the sale.
And now Dear owns 2 Black Pearl ships, including the one he bought back from HK.
We couldn't carry all the stuff back on his bike (since his lego set was SO big). To make things worse, it started to rain after we came out from the sale!We were so disastrous that the ultimate emergency plan was carried out.
Dear actually called his bro to come drive us back in his car!
Can u imagine?
We actually needed a car reinforcement!
So paiseh for me!
Well, luckily his bro and wife were kind enough to come and rescue us. Phew!
Now Dear u noe the importance of getting a car!
And we ate at the Macau Express restaurant again for an early dinner. We managed to try the roast chicken, not too bad. I think it's the only thing worth eating there. The chicken skin had the flavours of the nice marinate and was nicely roasted to give a soft crispy flavour. And of cos Dear ate his pork chop bun too because of the crispy bun. *roll eyeball* Wahaha.
So after everyone of us trudged back home with everything, happy Dear started to unpack the lego and built the ship.
Dear opened up his HK lego set. My first time playing with lego. Took us abt 5 hrs to build the ship.
And tadah! The masterpiece. Ya picture a bit dark but it was late at night when we finished and I couldn't really be bothered with the picture, haha.
And becos Dear's wonderful toy collection is so fast growing that we need to now shop for a new cupboard for them!
I shudder to think how we are going to transport the cupboard home. Delivery is not an option cos it's too ex!
We both need a well-paid job fast!
