I know the blog has not been updated for some time since Dear got back. That's becos I'm waiting for Dear to blog abt his trip!
Guess we have to wait long long liao, as usual. Grr.
But well, Dear and I have been doing the same old things, nothing new. I need some excitement in my life.
I'm trying to wear all the clothes that I bought back from TW and those that Dear bought back for me from his trip.
Haven't had a chance to finish wearing them yet. Hee, but that's good. Means I still have some new clothes : )
Today we went to Joo Chiat to try a new eating place- Kim's Hokkien Mee and the Four Seasons Durian besides it. So that was quite cool.
And before that we were driving around trying to buy a copy of 8 Days becos Dear said the latest issue introduces good durian places. But it wasn't available anywhere.
So after dinner, on the way home, I told Dear to stop at the Shell station near my house. I just had a hunch there will be an issue there. Becos we had already eaten dinner and dun need the magazine.
And tadah! I found a copy there! The ironies of life.
And after that, I suggested to Dear to drive to the park near my place for some private time. We found out that there were parking charges when we reached there so Dear decided to bring me home.
As we drove off, we reached a police check.
Yes, a police check! Deja Vu of our east coast park encounter, rem?
So the policeman asked Dear to switch on his headlights. Which Dear did.
The policeman asked Dear for his driving license. And after three minutes of examining his license, the policeman said: "You cannot don't know how to on your headlights wat. You just passed your driving license."
*_*
Turns out that Dear has been using his high beam instead of his headlights since he started driving the car and the policeman had to teach him how.
Ahh...such an adventurous night.
Dear never fails to amaze me.
