Happy day

I just came back from a weekday date with Dear. Dear came to pick me up after work to send me home but surprised me by driving his car.

So instead of weaving through peak traffic on a bike, I got to sit on a car! And got to go to Ion to shop!

Such a nice surprise! We ate Bali Thai at Ion and satisfied my craving for Thai Food. Dear's basil chicken rice was yummy! Both of us were so full. Then I went shopping but sadly didn't get anything. But at least it satisfy my shopping urge. :) hehe.

Such a nice mid week break and surprise : )

Dear bought a Playstation 3 on Sunday. Huge hole in the pocket now. And he's happily playing games everyday now.

And now for photos of this cafe that has become one of our fav places: Bon Gout cafe. It's a japanese cafe cum bookstore that allows you to sit and read their stuff.

Such a quaint place. A jewel find.

We came here last Sat and had lunch before sitting down to read. Dear ate chicken curry rice.

It was a very hot day. I ordered the cold ramen. It was very appetising (minus the veggies)!

After lunch, we sat a corner of the shop on cushioned chairs to read magazines. Dear bought his mags while I just looked at the pics of the Japanese fashion mags.

I would have stayed there longer to chill if Dear had not complained of body aches after just one hour of sitting down.

Nonetheless, the place is great for chilling out, just sitting there and reading. For a short period of time, you can forget you are in Singapore and can just relax.

I just wish the cafe also sells cakes so that we can just order cakes and sit there, instead of ordering a full meal.

Love this place! We'll come back soon!
