At Ah Loy Thai at Shaw Tower. We queued and waited for long to get a table and our food.The pad thai was quite good but alas, there was a staple in the noodles! Dear was so angry that he said we are not going back there again, boohoo. In fact, he was so upset that he rejected the staff's offer to cook us a new plate and wanted a refund so that we can leave.
The basil chicken that we tried. It was not too bad. The good thing about eating lunch here was that another cafe which I've always wanted to try was located in the same building.
So after the horrifying lunch, we walked to this little quaint cafe (Hairloom and Caramel) for more food. : )

I like the place! Certainly a keeper that I would want to go back to again! Nice decor, not bad food at reasonable prices. So hip sia, hahah.
