Random updates

It's exactly one month to our wedding! We chose our wedding to be on our anniversary, so it's gonna be our 9-year anniversary too!

The wedding concept is a small pretty garden wedding mainly for relatives, and I have been brainstorming loads of DIY ideas over the past 1 year. Yes, the wedding took 1 year to prepare. Ok lah, one year, cos we have to book the venue early. And since booking the venue, I had the whole year to keep mulling over ideas.

We are also preparing for the house simultaneously so it's a lot of work to do. THEN, there is still the honeymoon to plan for, which we have not because we are not sure when HDB will release our house keys.

Since we are still waiting for the HDB update to come in any day now, it is full attention on the wedding for now. We have a few DIY projects to get started on! We are printing stickers for the wedding favours, tags for table decor, a bird nest ring holder and a scrapbook photo album.

In the mean time, we have also spotted some small stuff at JB that we like for our wedding.

Stayed over at Dear's place last weekend and we went to Pick Me Cafe at ECP for brunch.

Followed Dear to his special Sunday football session at the Floating Plaform. Pretty cool huh.

The garden pot and signage we saw in JB. Liked them the moment we saw them. Planning to use them on the reception table with flowers.

 Also bought some scrapbook stickers.

Showing this randomly cos I was tidying up my photos from our JB trips over the last few months and saw this. Dear likes to make a recurring joke out of this after the custard exploded on my face when I ate the bun.

Ending the post with a yummy photo. We finally tried tze char in JB. While it was not exceptionally delicious, but it was yummy enough for a most satisfying meal. Bonus points for the cheaper price too. Yeah!
