Updates on our wedding first.
Becuase the wedding and the house reno were happening simultaneously, Dear and I agreed to lead one of the events each. No prizes for guessing who is leading which one.
I am proud to say that despite all the rush and pain for the preparations leading up to the wedding, I think the actual day turned out well. Also thanks to Dear who was the logistics manager on the actual day.
Before the wedding, we had to collect our wedding cert from ROM. The appointment was scheduled to be on 3 Dec and we took leave for the day. The whole process was pretty fast and felt like a visit to the doctor. Didn't take too much photos too, probably no mood cos the place looked pretty clinical.
The reception area of the newly renovated ROM. Take a ticket and wait for your queue number to be flashed on the screen and you will go into a cubicle to sign all sorts of documents and read an oath.
Dear said there is a happening cafe at ROM. This is it. At least they bothered to give it some decor. We had lunch here after collecting our cert.
Tom yum and green curry. There were rather limited choices but the food was ok. Apparently the cook is a Thai.
So this is our simple ROM, lol. We saw a couple of couples (yes, purposely want to sound confusing) who were having their solemnisation here and came dressed in their wedding attire. One of the their bridal cars had a parking ticket. We saw it when we returned to our car in the car park. So poor thing.
Ok, next up will be more on our actual day!
