We have been visiting a lot of vendors, eg for curtains, bathroom accessories, lightings. Each place we go, we try to make a point to try the famous food in the area. So we have actually been eating quite well on weekends haha.
Some food pics:
Wanton mee at the Geylang Serai market
Really good rojak but quite ex at a minimum price of $5. Have to queue for around 20 mins too. But still pretty worth the queue as long as you don't do during peak hours. We bought it again when we went down to our curtain vendor for a second visit.
Queued for 10 mins for this duck rice beside Rojak stall. Can only say I am not a fan of braised duck rice.
We went to this vegetarian stall becuase it came highly recommended by a bathroom shop we visited. Really not bad lah- not this noodles but the curry chicken rice below. Me no vegetarian. Me prefer normal style of cooking.
Joo Chiat prawn noodles which will be closing soon so we went to have a bowl before church on one Sunday.
The chilli is really spicy. Definitely one of the best bowls of prawn noodles I had.
We are targetting to move in at the end of the month and have been busy looking at Taobao to buy furniture. Almost everyday is a discussion on the house. Can't wait to move in and then go on the long CNY break that we have planned for ourselves.
Bye!
