I love the Roman remains. And how relaxed the place is, though I think a bit too relaxed if you are staying there. All the men seem very nua one.
We also spent time trying to catch Mr Mime, the regional pokemon. Kinda hilarious. Poke-siao, like dear dear said.
Venice
We also visited the Murano and Burano islands. Tried the famous fish risotto at Da Romano restaurant and learn that Dear likes risotto. We cooked risotto after we came back and it is the dish that I cooked that Dear loves most to eat.
Milan
Most boring of all the Italian cities, but ok, been there done that. Lol. We had a lot of time even though we stopped over for a day only. Even went for AC Milan stadium tour.
Pisa
We climbed the inside to reach the top of the tower! So proud of me cos stairs are my enemy!
Florence
Now the journey starts to get interesting. Love the vibe and heritage.
San Gimignano, Siena and Chianti
Old towns are always fun. And they are well-preserved.
Sorrento
This little town turns out to be one of our fave spots, unexpectedly. There's something charming about this laid back but yet modern town.
Pompeii and Herculaneum
Amazing ruins that really gave a glimpse of the roman life. And we were watching Spartan before we left for the trip, so got a lot of feel, haha.
Capri and AnaCapri
Day trip to the rich men's island getaway.
Rome
And ending our trip with a bang! The colosseum that we had travelled for!
We also visited the Vatican, which was stunning in terms of how rich the place is- lots of shimmering gold and expensive art.
