Thai Gold Food at Sunshine Plaza

As the introductory course of our Japanese class ended on Sat, we have one more place in Sunshine Plaza to recommend: Thai Gold Food.

While the location is not as good as the Thai eatery at the entrance of the building, Thai Gold Food (previously named Sbey Sbey Thai Food) has its supporters. We ate the 'one meal' dish and didn't try the cooked dishes as we were not feeling in the mood to eat so much.

I had the Tom Yum seafood fried rice. It's a good fried rice with wok hei but that's all I can say of the dish. The Tom Yum flavour was negligible and the cook can give more ingredients. But for $5, I suppose the dish is good enough.

Dear had the Pad Thai which didn't impress him. So I guess it's not too bad but not too good either.

Pandan chicken at $8 for the smaller plate. I like that the chicken was flavourful but the surface of the chicken was too dry and overall the meat was a little tough.

After class, we headed home for a steak cookout (will blog soon about it) and as you can see, Dear wanted to stay in because it was soccer night!
