I helped Dear to celebrate his bdae on Sun, since I think it is easier to celebrate during the weekend.We can have more time together and dun have to wait for Dear to finish his work. I booked a table at Carnivore, a Brazilian churrascaria restaurant. Both of us have always wanted to try the restaurant and I thot I would make it happen on Dear's bdae. The food was ok, a bit disappointing as I had high expectations of the place. There were lots of meat but most were too dry and I dun really like the pungent flavours of the beef and lamb. I also arranged a little birthday cake surprise for Dear- it's a complimentary birthday promotion from the restaurant. Imagine Dear's shock when a bunch of male waiters walk up from behing him to present the cake and sing a bdae song for him. Dear said it felt so weird for guys to sing to another guy, haha. As for Dear's present, I bought him a Braun Buffel wallet as his one was getting spoilt. Dear loved it :)
I had planned for us to go to the night safari after dinner but as it turned out, we sat at the restaurant for too long and ate so much that we were lazy to go. Haha. Maybe Dear will make the night safari my birthday surprise.
Today, we went out for a simple dinner celebration. We went to Suntec City and ate the La Mian Xiao Long Bao cos I was craving for it. Lucky this is not the real celebration cos Dear couldn't get away from work early although he promised to. Something cropped up and I waited til abt 9pm for him. But I was happy to eat my noodles and dumplings.
The week has been a good one so far because of Dear's bdae celebrations. Now I'm hoping the weekend will come fast!
