Ratatouille!

I just came back from watching the new Disney movie Ratatouille with Dear. Today is it's first day of screening in SG. It was quite good, I used to work with chefs, so I guess the cooking theme attracted me to the movie too. All the kitchen action was very realistic and the rat, Remy, is so cute! Though not in the fluffy cute way. He truly deserves compliments for all his determination in achieving his dream. The ST movie critic gave the movie a five stars rating. Full marks! What I liked most about the show was when at the end, the mean food critic found himself back after eating a plate of ratatouille cooked by Remy.

Dear and I had finished sch in the evening and went to JP to get the tickets. We ate at a Jap restaraunt (not the very ex kind) and the food was not too bad. The best thing I liked was that it didn't have service charge. And I have a new class project that requires me to blog each week about a chosen topic. To try and save trouble, I've decided to blog abt good hawker stalls nearby in Jurong, meaning each week I have to intro a good hawker stall. Perfect to go eat with Dear when we finish lessons in the evening and then dun noe wat to do. Good excuse to eat and considerably cheap too!
