Koh samui day 1

Koh Samui, Thailand: Day 1

April has been a crazy month. A week after Dear came back from Sydney, it was my turn to go on a 4-day work trip to Koh Samui.

And now it's my turn to share about my trip after Dear's fabulous photo account of his trip!

I flew on a Friday night so, by the time I reached there, there was only time to check into our hotel and sleep.

Hotel: Bandara resort and spa at Bophut Beach.

My room. contemporary design with predominant white and black colours.

A lounging sofa beside the bed

And besides the lounging sofa, the bathtub. You can talk to a person while he is soaking in the tub. Kind of a thoughtful design.

And the sink area, which I rather like.

Notice the bright yellow and orange bag at the bottom? It's a beach bag for guests to use and to bring back their wet towels after visiting the beach.

Nice thought and bonus marks for the nice colours!

And I had contemplated if I can bring back the bag. In the end I decided against it as I think the hotel will be very upset with me for stealing such a 'good' item.

There was a a balcony area overlooking the rest of the hotel with a lounging sofa. I shall not post up the photos as I took the pictures the next morning and guess what? My camera caught a cold during the night so it was foggy the whole morning. Hahaha.

And that was an irony because the aircon was actually quite warm throughout the night. My camera did not catch a cold the next few nights even though I set the air con much colder. Duh.
