Our Taiwan trip did not have a very good start. We woke up at 5am plus to go to the airport only to know that our Cathay flight was delayed retimed to 10am plus. And we have to wait for another flight when we transit at HK because everything is delayed.
By the time we reach Taiwan, it was around 6pm?! Crazy lor. We were tired already and I think that spolit what's left of the first day for us. Plus Dear was still feeling unwell.
And so, after walking the long route with luggage in tow, we finally reached our hotel- One Star Hotel.
Room was small but clean and looks new. 
Toilet
Shower area. No bathtub but I'm fine with it. I prefer bathing in shower area then bathtub.
The TV was quite huge though, teehee.
And for some hotel guests who may need it, there's this.
After putting down our stuff, we took the MTR to Ximending.
The hip place in Taipei- XimendingBut the stuff were quite ex and not very nice. But there were nice food stalls there.

First stop in Ximending and the first thing we ate in Taiwan- Ah Zhong Mian Xian
It was good. The chilli sauce and garlic are fantastic. I add a lot in and it was shiok!
Drink store besides Ah Zhong Mian Xian. The drinks are not bad.
We walked around after the shops closed. I bought a few snacks for supper like Pai Gu Su and Lu Wei. Slurp.
Bought this mineral water from Family Mart. Cute name.
Also bought this cold noodles which became Dear's fav food in Taiwan, hurhur
