Yesterday, Dear and I went to the Singapore Garden Festival, not because we are greenies or we are so artistic. I had free tickets and since we are in church, I thot why not just take a look and do something different.
As it turns out, it was not a very good idea as Dear was bored stiff and showed no qualms about displaying his boredom.
In the end, after taking some "just to show we are there" photos, we went to Gloria Jeans to chill. Hey, you get tired even from being bored ok.
I think I simply love this kind of afternoon treats, sitting down to get some bites or a drink in the afternoon. I love leisurely tea breaks and brunches. It makes me feel so...leisurely, hahaha.
Need to do more of it.
Dinner was at Two Fat Men, a place which I have always wanted to try after reading rave reviews. And I love holes in the walls like this. Dear, pls find more of this kind of places. I like.
The thai milk tea with the must try chicken basil rice. The tea was too milky. The rice was excellent, savoury and sweet all at once.
Their must try pork neck slices. It was quite good I think, although I wished that the meat could be crispier.
Dear's burger which he proclaim to be normal. Indeed it was quite normal, but for $6.90, it is not too bad lah.

This is a place that I'll definitely come back again. It's relatively cheap, has a cool setting (it's actually a sports bar) and doesn't charge GST, I think.
Only prob is there are little parking lots in the areas. Why can't they have parking facilites along streets with good food?
