A lousy weekend

I have not seen Dear for the entire week. We met up on Fri for a dinner and I waited quite a bit for Dear to finish his work before he could meet me. Dear decide to bring me to Newton Circus to eat cos I've often said I want to go there. I've never been there before although it is considered as 'The' hawker centre in Singapore. There's a lot of BBQ stalls there and we ate the sambal stingray of one of the stalls that had quite a few media interview pieces pasted on its stalls. But I think it tasted quite normal and there were not enough sambal sauce on the fish. And it was more expensive than the ones that I ate in normal hawker centres. Overrated, I would say.

Dear has to work on Sat so I stayed home to slack. Less time with Dear, hai. After church on Sun, we went to Dear's house so that he could have time to write his internship report. Both of us have to hand in out internship report this Friday so ya, it's kind of a rush to have to get it done. I couldn't think of a place to go eat dinner and Dear thot of bringing me to Jalan Lebun to eat spaghetti at the hawker centre there. Dear's colleagues sometimes go there to eat lunch. We spent quite some time finding the place as Dear was a little unsure of the place. By the time we reached, it was 8 plus and surprisingly the stall was closing. But luckily, we managed to be the last customers, haha. I tried the bacon carbonara and Dear ate the sausage spaghetti. I must say the spaghetti is quite nice for hawker centre standard. The price is quite cheap too, $3-$4plus. Dear brought me to see the Peranakan restuarant that he said was cheap and wanted to bring me there to eat. I took a look at the prices and the dishes were at $5 plus each, VERY cheap! Even cheaper than the zi cha in my school! Hopefully we'll go back soon to eat.

Hope happier times will come too. I'm getting bored with just going to Dear's house everytime and not doing much. I need some new sparks. But Dear is broke. I really hope Dear will do something to surprise me soon.
